Claire Elise Boucher (bu:'SeI/boo-SHAY) born on March 17, 1988. The name she is given is Grimes. The early work of her has been classified as "lo-fi R&B to futuristic dance-pop",[4that draws inspiration from hip-hop, electronic and rock. A lot of her songs touch on science-fiction themes as well as feminist issues. Five studio albums were made available by the group. Grimes is a native of Vancouver but later relocated to Montreal. Her first solo career in the late in the 2000s. In 2010 she debuted two albums with Arbutus Records, Geidi Primes (and Halfaxa), respectively. Following her joining 4AD and gaining the charts through Visions which was her third album of studio work. Visions includes the singles "Genesis" as well as "Oblivion" as well as being given an award called the Juno Award in Canada for Electronic Album of the year. The fourth album of her studio Art Angels was released in the year 2015. The album received high marks from the press and critics, while many magazines voted it to be the top album of the year. In the year 2020, she released Miss Anthropocene (her fifth studio album). Grimes is an official judge of Alter Ego, a music contest.
